The Adirondack Theatre Festival’s professional internship program offers intense, hands on educational opportunities for current students and early career professionals seeking an introduction to careers in the professional theatre. Our goal is to provide interns with practical experience in the shop, rehearsal room, backstage and in the front office as well as valuable networking opportunities with working theatre professionals.

**All positions have been filled. Please come back again in the fall to apply for our 2020 season.

Please note, while interns are assigned specific departments and mentors, they are also expected to work outside their chosen area of expertise. We hope to provide the intern with a well-rounded experience designed to inform them of all the various jobs required to mount a professional production. ATF does not offer performing internships.

Time Commitment/Compensation/Eligibility

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

ATF Internships require a full-time commitment in Glens Falls, NY from May 27 – August 14. This is an intensive professionally-streamed internship. While best efforts are made to ensure that interns get time off, there are no regularly scheduled days off each week. There is no time for outside employment.

ATF interns are provided housing and a stipend of $200 at the conclusion of the commitment.
